The son of Western Winter has proved especially effective as a sire of fillies, with his ever growing list of top-class daughters headed by dual Gr.1 Majorca Stakes winner Clouds Unfold, this season’s Gr.2 4Racing Camellia Stakes/Gr.3 World Sports Betting Man O’ War Sprint victress Celestial Love, Gr.2 winning millionaire Magical Wonderland, and the speedy, stakes winning fillies Winter Smoke, Sarah, and Hello Winter Hello. What A Winter is also the sire of promising two-year-old filly Winter Mosaic -a smart winner on debut and runner up in this season’s Gr.3 Kenilworth Fillies Nursery.

This bay filly, a half-sister to 4 winners including six time winner Jamie Lee Jet, is out of the smart racemare Ellie’s Wish. The latter, a daughter of top-class broodmare sire Elliodor and Oaks runner up Miss Rooney, won five times, from 1000-1600m, and ran third in the Gr.3 Final Fling Stakes, where she beat subsequent star broodmare Sweet Virginia, among others. Ellie’s Wish’s sire Elliodor is broodmare sire of some exceptional performers including champions Aslan, Cordocelli, Donatella, Dog Wood, French Navy and Val De Ra-to name but a few!
