Catalogued as lot 153, the colt is from the first crop of the beautifully bred Master Of My Fate, a son of champions Jet Master and Promisefrommyheart.
The handsome Master Of My Fate, whose first foals arrived to rave reviews, was a top class athlete who six of his eight outings including both the G2 Premier Trophy and G2 Peninsula Handicap. During his career, the R3 million yearling buy accounted for such G1 winners and/or champions Capetown Noir, Do You Remember, Hill Fifty Four, Jackson, King Of Pain, Master Sabina, and Wylie Hall.
His son, lot 153, is out of a winning Rich Man’s Gold half-sister to former G1 Met winner Martial Eagle and G3 Algoa Cup winner Nebula. An impressive recent winner over 1600m, Nebula, who has banked more than R450 000 and connections hope to qualify him for the 2017 Vodacom Durban July!
Second dam is the stakes placed Jallad mare Seeking The Wind –a three parts sister to G1 SA Classic winner Divine Jury. This is also the family of champion and Triple Tiara winner Cherry On The Top and her Oaks winning dam Carolina Cherry.
Rich Man Gold mares have been doing exceptionally well of late and are responsible for the 1-3 finishers, Brave Mary and Neptune’s Rain, in the G1 Allan Robertson Championship.
