Boland to offer filly with a speed pedigree at KZN Sale!
Boland Stud’s quality draft at this year’s KZN Yearling Sale includes a filly who hails from a female line packed full of speedy performers.
The filly, already named Jane’s Vision, in question is a daughter of Gr.1 King’s Bishop Stakes winner Visionaire South Africa’s Leading First Season Sire of 2014-2015, and Leading Second Season Sire the following year. Visionaire, a grandson of the mighty Gone West, is no stranger to siring high-class fillies, with his daughters already including Gr.1 Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Classic/Gr.2 Gauteng Fillies Guineas queen Takingthepeace and another Gr.2 Wilgerbosdrift Gauteng Fillies Guineas winner in the form of Heaps Of Fun.

Jane’s Vision’s granddam is none other than former Gr.3 Strelitzia Stakes winner Fine Feather, a very smart performer at two who ran third in the Gr.1 Allan Robertson Championship of her year. Fine Feather is from the immediate family of brilliant two-year-old, and former South African champion Historic Lady, while other high-class members of this family include Oaks winner Velozia, top-class sprinter and successful sire Flower Power, and graded stakes winning own sisters Captain’s Flame and Fragrant Al.
