Lot 28 – Garden Tea Party x Querari
Boland Stud’s Querari filly ticks all the boxes!
Oasis Dream stallion Querari has proven consistently successful since retiring to stud in 2011. He made a blistering start to his stud career, with Querari’s small first crop of 27 foals, of which 26 raced and 23 won, producing an impressive eight black type horses, notably the graded stakes winners Cosmic Light and Kangaroo Jack. Querari’s subsequent crops have yielded a host of graded stakes winners, headed by Gr.1 Thekwini Stakes winner Querari Falcon, millionaire and Gr.2 Premier Trophy winner Head Honcho, exported Gr.2 Gauteng Guineas/Dingaans victor Monks Hood, Gr.2 winner and millionaire Wonderwall, high-class sprinter Pinnacle Peak, and Gr.2 Zulu Kingdom Explorer Golden Slipper victress Cockney Pride.
Querari’s latest star is the top sprinter Rio Querari, who raced to a breath-taking score in the Gr.2 Khaya Stables Diadem Stakes, and the Justin Snaith trained Rio Querari looks on track for bigger and better things. With Querari having covered some exceptional mares in recent times, the sky seems the limit for the former German champion and Querari’s increasing list of stakes winning progeny!
